How do I unsubscribe from Float?
To unsubscribe, you should do the following:
1. Unlink your account from the Float app (through “Account Details” in the menu)
2. Cancel the membership through App Store settings. More info here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039
Why do you have a 7-day free trial?
Because we want to make sure you like our product before the $2.99 monthly subscription kicks in.
Can anyone receive a cash advance?
No, the cash advance options is currently limited to 36 states (list below). Even if you live in an eligible state, you might not get approved. Why? We don’t know the exact reasons but usually it has to do with stable income, debt, etc…
Float cash advances are SUPPORTED in the following 36 states: Alabama, Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Float cash advances are currently NOT supported in the following 14 states: Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.
If I don’t get approved for a cash advance once, does it mean I will never get approved?
No at all. If your situation changes, you might get approved. We do recommend to wait a little while (a few weeks) between two requests.
